Wow – the last few years have certainly gone fast. I feel very blessed to have two young men in our house of whom I am so proud to call my boys. Life with them is never dull, and I never tire of watching (and photographing) them develop and grow.
So today, ‘baby Dean’ as my American friends know him, turns 16. We had an early start with his tennis training at 6am this morning, so no time for pressies – it’s all just about to happen.
But I thought I’d sneak a quick photo of the card I created for him, ‘cos I really like it, especially for a teenage boy. I have been using Chalk It Up on scrapbook pages and cards lately, and have been very surprised by how much I love it. Looking at it in the catalogue I thought it was ‘ok’, but now I’ve played with it, I can assure you the colours are stunning, and the range works for so much more than just school.
Now, I must confess, the idea for the card is not mine (that’s why I’m allowed to tell you how much I like it). If you look on my pinterest account, you’ll see it’s one of the many ideas I’ve pinned using the chalk it up range. This particular one I got from Noreen www.noreenschat.com
