Comfort & Joy – Australasian Papercrafting Blog Hop
Hi and welcome to our Comfort & Joy Australasian blog hop. If you arrived here from Danni you’re in the right spot. If you just happened upon me, even better, because you’re now part way through a great little blog hop of inspiration, using the Comfort & Joy suite of products from CTMH.
This is of course, a Christmas themed range. How many of you are Christmasaholics?? Pick me pick me! I so love the Christmas season. Christmas in NZ is in the height of summer, so all our favourite summers start with Christmas celebrations, parties, barbecues etc.
The paper suite is quite lovely, and if you love traditional Christmas colours, this is the one for you.

But as I flicked through the range of Comfort & Joy products (there’s quite a lot in the range), I was drawn to the workshop kit. Who wouldn’t love a kit that’s pre-designed, and with many of the pieces pre-cut? Then throw in that the layouts are just stunning, and it’s a no brainer.
Comfort & Joy Workshop Kit
Here’s what the kit looks like (yes, you get ALL of that!);

I did modify the layouts a little bit (which is the great thing about these kits, although they’re pre-designed, it doesn’t mean you can’t still put your own twist on them.
You have everything in the kit to create 3 double-paged layouts. (Plus lots of goodies left over to play with).
I haven’t organised my photos for this layout yet, so here’s the one in the catalogue.

Here’s layout 2. I have a little less busy style than was prescribed in this, so this is my version.

In the third layout, I again modified it a little. I wanted to bring a little more of the red (scarlet) in, so I created red photo mats. I also wanted to bling up the tree, but without the gold, so used red liquid pearls. Watch the video below for a quick tip in how to do this precisely.

If you’re a kiwi, and don’t already have a consultant, you can purchase everything you’ve seen here, on my website, but many items only available until the end of October, so don’t dilly dally, order them NOW. 😊
And now, it’s time to head off for a little more inspiration, with Lauren @ Lauren’s CTMH Craftings
