IDEAS Blog Hop – Christmas crafting!

Hello friend and welcome to our IDEAS blog hop to share our October 2025  IDEAS Tutorial Bundle “Christmas.” Our global team is from Australia, Germany, Canada, the United States, the Netherlands, UK and me here in NZ. We’re focusing on Christmas this month, because it will be here before you know it, and the earlier you get ready for Christmas, the less stressed you’ll be as time progresses.

We’ve all created two ideas each for you – and one of these is a Christmas card. That’s probably the first Christmas crafting priority, as you need time to create, write, and post (especially if posting internationally).

So, go pop on some Christmas tunes, and get in the mood for a beautiful Christmas sensory overload!

To start, I’m sharing a layout I created with the Keeping Traditions Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. I am in ❤️with this kit. It’s absolutely stunning. Initially I cut the kit as per the instructions, but as I was putting it together I decided to make some modifications to suit my photos.

One of the traditions we have on Christmas Day, is ‘the prezzie game’. I honestly think it’s become one of the most looked forward to parts of Christmas Day. It brings everyone together, and offers so much laughter – how could you not love it. So I always have a big bunch of photos, and wanted a layout that could accommodate them. So I changed the colours slightly on the left side, and modified the right side to take more photos.

For Layout 2, I made a couple of modifications. (You’ll receive the cutting instructions for this layout as part of the IDEAS Blog Hop).

I loved the little scalloped die cuts, and wanted them to shine rather than be hidden. I think these two pages will be perfect for Christmas tree photos, and the Making Magic page will be great for Christmas baking.

Layout 3 in the kit I left as it was, as it was just perfect as it was.

But wait, there’s more!

I’m sharing one of the many Christmas cards I’ve already created this season. This is using paper from the Traditions of Christmas designer series paper. Although similar, this paper is different to the papers you get in the Keeping Traditions Scrapbooking Workshop kit – so you need both!!
