I’ve got a new toy ….

Maybe you should put the jug on – settle in, this is going to be a long one!!

CTMH have released a new exclusive Cricut cartridge – Artistry.  It’s kind of like Art Philosophy on steroids!  The cartridge has the 700 images that you know you’re going to get from a CTMH exclusive, in a wide variety of different themes, layered shapes, banners, backgrounds, icons, seasons, occasions – perfect for all types of crafting.  And as always, when you purchase this, you don’t just get the cartridge – it’s a collection.  So alongside your 700 images, you’ll also receive 3 co-ordinating and exclusive stamp sets, AND a pack of the new Enchantment cardstock.  I know – what a deal!

But wait, there’s more …

This is more!
This is more!

So anyway, I got playing this afternoon.  I saw a card I fell in love with on www.kristascraftycorner.blogspot.com, and thought it would be a perfect card for all the kiwi blokes who like a bit of coffee – combine this card, with a coffee card/voucher, and you’re onto a winner for Father’s Day.  Of course, Krista’s coffee cards were all pretty – not so good for your bloke, so I employed CTMH’s new Urban paper for the backgrounds, and teamed that up with Peacock, one of the new Enchantment range.

Krista is a lucky chic who has a Cricut Explore – I’m still using an E2, so the file she kindly shared didn’t work for me.  But with her instructions it was so easy to create this myself in Cricut Craft Room.    (f you’d like my file to do this yourself, simply message me below.)

Once I cut the first base card, I then scored it using our fab scoring board.

The August Stamp of the Month was just perfect for the sentiment and ‘frame’;

The peacock paper was embossed using our Stripe folder, for a little extra texture – just like the wrap that your coffee cup comes in.

Because the paper is quite dark, I then cut a smaller single cup in Colonial White, for the message inside.

Isn’t it cool??!!  Thanks to both Krista and the Artistry cartridge, this card was a cinch to make.  If you’d like to get your own hands on this cartridge, simply click here.  (There is a cheaper digital version for those with Explores)  Did you realise if you purchase this cartridge, you are only $85 away from a $40 hostess credit!?!  Anything else you want?  Stamp of the Month for $5???  Call or email me if you have any questions on this.
