Jan/Feb CTMH catalogue new product blog hop

Welcome to our Jan / Feb catalogue blog hop. 😊, where we’re featuring ideas using products from this seasonal book.   If you have come here from Becca-Expressions, you’re on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here on Melinda’s Blog.

The book features two key product suites – SWEET AS HONEY, and SAWYER. As much as I love the Sweet As Honey one, I was really drawn to Sawyer, as it incorporates my favourite new colour – Harbour.

I’ve created a four page (two double page) speed scrapbooking kit with it. This is the first double page in the kit.

To create this, I’ve used background paper from the Sawyer paper pack. I also tore a little off the top and bottom edge, and snuck a little of a rainbow zip strip in there. It adds a great element of texture, and colour.

The strips on the layout are from Sawyer co-ordinating cardstock, and have all been cut using the Slimline Shaker Window thin cut. The centre part of it that I used as a beautiful little scalloped edge, and stitched inner. It really adds to the texture on the page.

The rest of the layout has been finished with some beautiful stickers from the Sawyer sticker sheet, and White Acrylic Flowers.

Layout 2

Layout 2 is a little less structured. If Best Friends isn’t a title that’s going to work for you, simply change that out for your own. This layout will work for lots of themes. I love the pockets – each one can take a photo, or journalling, or memento. Make them work for what you have. (The pockets were created using the Holly and Ivy Digital Art SVG Collection from CTMH.)

If you’re in NZ, and would like to order the speed kit (fully cut), click HERE for full details. If you don’t have a CTMH consultant, and would like to order any CTMH products (in NZ only), I’m only too happy to help. You can shop to your hearts content here: https://megan.closetomyheart.co.nz/

Now “hop” on over to Brenda Lapp’s blog to continue the new product ideas and inspiration. Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and the full gamut of inspiration.

  1. Such a clever use o the slimline die. And I love all the pockets on the second layout. I’m saving both of these in my “to be CASE’d later” file. Thanks for the inspiration!!
