Welcome back! Yesterday I shared some of the beautiful new scrapbooking products in the Jan-Feb catalogue, today I’m going to share some of the new cardmaking products in the same book.
Cardmaking for dummies
OK – that might be a bit of a harsh name – I was trying to play off the ‘ …. for dummies’ book series.
The CTMH cardmaking subscription program is not for dummies, but it can be for those who’ve never made cards before. It can also perfect for you if you don’t have much time, live somewhere remote, are struggling perhaps to hold and use many of your crafters’ tools, or if you struggle with creativity.
So what is the subscription program exactly? When you join you receive cardmaking kits delivered to your door at regular intervals (there are 3 per year). Each kit includes all the materials you need (except adhesive) to create 24 beautiful cards (2 each of 12 designs). This includes;
- mini inks
- stamping block
- an exclusive stamp set
- pre-printed card bases
- die cut shapes
It’s all there, so you can create these cards in just minutes. The stamp set has a range of sentiments, so you have a choice for each card.
How amazing is that?
When you subscribe, you have two options – you can choose a year subscription (3 deliveries), or a 4-month subscription (one delivery). The yearly subscription is the best deal, with a 20% discount, and free shipping.
Since we’re on the subject of kits, let’s check out some of the Cardmaking Workshop kits, starting with the beautiful Celebrate Today kit.
Aren’t they just stunning. This kit has all you need to create 4 of each of these cards (yes that’s 16 stunning cards). There are some great techniques taught as you create these too (they do come with a full instruction guide).
Next up – Spruced Up!
Another gorgeous kit, this one themed more towards sending comfort. Sadly this seems to be a huge amount of my cards these days, a sad indicator of my age. 🙁
So, a very important kit to have in your stash. This kit creates 12 cards – 4 of each of the designs below, and includes a thin cut set. (I know many of you will be very happy that you don’t have to fussy cut around those flowers!)
There are SO MANY beautiful products for cardmakers in this book, but the last one I want to focus on today, is the amazing spinner card ‘technology’.
HOW COOL ARE THESE?!!! They are seriously cute too! And they’re super easy to make with the new Card Front Spinner Thin Cuts set. You do need a die cutting machine to use the thin cuts. But if you have one, you’ll see how super easy they are to create. To go with the technology, CTMH have created two different stamp sets, so you can create these cards.
I told you they were super cute!
So there you have it, a little snippet of new cardmaking joy in CTMH’s latest catalogue.
Which are you going to start with?
