No laughing out loud …

I know you’re going to want to, because I’ve delved into the world of ‘home videos’!  One of CTMH’s gorgeous new 2016 releases are Thin Cuts – essentially little metal dies that work in your embossing machine ie. Cuttlebug, Big Shot etc.

This type of product has been on the market for a little while, but when I went to learn how to use them, I found lots of conflicting messages – the more I saw, the more confused I got.   So you get the benefit of my research!

One of the key lessons learned, was that your plates will get damaged when using ‘cutting tools’ in your cuttlebug (this was a little alarming to me, because I’ve only used my cuttlebug for embossing, and my plates are pristine.  But as you’ll see in my video, I have found a way of ensuring my B plates (for embossing) stay pristine, even whilst I cut with them.

I would love to know what you think.  This has all been a big learning curve for me, but I hope it means it’s nice and simple for you.  🙂

I have both the C plates and metal shims for sale if you need these, plus of course, I have the range of CTMH Thin Cuts and co-ordinating stamp sets.
