So this is what we got up to in the weekend …

I hope you had an amazing weekend.  Saturday in Auckland was a little overcast, which was just the perfect weather for an afternoon crop, because it was followed on Sunday with the MOST beautiful ‘almost’ spring day.

We had a really great time croppin’ and creating on Saturday.  I shared with everyone a layout designed by the very clever Susan Williams (of the US), which included a ‘fold out accordian’ section.  This is as in CTMH’s Magic idea book, and is a really clever and cute way of adding extra photos, journalling, embellishments, or a combination of all of these.  Lots of people completed this page as designed, but Penny O put her own spin on it, using the Seaside paper (if you want some of this, order it now, because it’s being retired at the end of the month).  I love Penny’s adaptation of the layout.

Here’s a little snippet from our crop.  The cake was my creation for afternoon tea!

Lots of lovely creating done at this months' crop

  1. Thanks for the lovely afternoon on Saturday. Really enjoyed doing the new layout and the lovely afternoon tea. But i’m really so thrilled with the layout I did following for my daughters 27 year old baby photos. Thanks a million to Megan.
